COURSE DETAILS
Strategic Project Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Course Description
Strategic Project Leadership in the Age of AI is a 30-hour online course designed for mid- to senior-level professionals seeking to enhance their leadership and project management capabilities in complex, fast-changing environments.
Developed using the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, the course consists of six live online sessions (each 1.5 hours) and three asynchronous, collaborative assignments.
Participants will learn how to architect value-driven project strategies, lead people through change with agility, and leverage AI as an enabler for improved project outcomes and decision-making. The course emphasizes the evolving project management ecosystem—shifting from outputs to outcomes and impact—and prepares participants to guide their teams through digital transformation, uncertainty, and continuous learning.
By the end of the program, participants will be equipped to design and justify business cases that create value, lead adaptive teams with confidence, and apply AI tools to enhance strategic agility and organizational resilience in a VUCA world.
Course Goals
Here are specific course goals that directly support the main goal of the course:
Understand the evolving project management landscape — from output-focused approaches to outcome- and impact-driven strategies that create sustainable value.
Apply strategic thinking in complex, uncertain environments (VUCA) — by linking project purpose, organizational goals, and stakeholder expectations.
Develop adaptive leadership skills — to guide teams effectively through change, ambiguity, and digital transformation.
Design and implement integrated change management plans — aligning people, processes, and technology for smoother transitions and higher engagement.
Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights — to enhance project decision-making, risk management, and overall performance.
Foster empowered, resilient, and learning-oriented project teams — that can continuously adapt and innovate in an AI-enabled workplace.
Build and communicate strong business cases — that demonstrate how projects contribute to organizational strategy and measurable value creation.
Promote ethical and human-centered use of AI in project leadership — balancing automation with empathy, collaboration, and critical judgment.
Course Handbook
The overall goal of this workshop is to empower project leaders to shape the future of work by applying strategic agility, AI-driven insights, and adaptive leadership—turning uncertainty into opportunity and ensuring sustainable project success.
