MODULE 3
Strategic Project Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Empowering Project Teams in the Age of AI
This final module explores how artificial intelligence is transforming the project management landscape and reshaping the roles, skills, and mindsets of project leaders. As AI becomes more integrated into decision-making and execution, leaders must learn to balance technological capability with human insight.
You will discover practical ways to use AI tools to enhance project outcomes, anticipate risks, and support teams through AI-enabled transitions. The module also highlights strategies for reskilling and empowering team members, helping them adapt to new tools and processes while maintaining engagement and creativity
Adaptive Leadership Behaviors in Uncertain Environments
This course builds on a foundational understanding of project management principles. Participants are expected to be familiar with the key knowledge areas—such as scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management—as well as the main project management processes. These include developing a project charter, defining objectives, and preparing a high-level project plan.
A basic grasp of these concepts will help participants engage more effectively with the course content, which focuses on applying modern and agile approaches to create greater project value.
In this assignment, you will develop a risk management plan for a given case by integrating AI-enabled tools and insights. The goal is to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance risk identification, assessment, and response planning — while also reflecting on the human and team implications of using AI in project environments.
You will begin by analyzing the provided project scenario and using an AI tool of your choice (such as ChatGPT, Notion AI, or a similar platform) to:
Identify potential risks related to project scope, schedule, resources, and external factors,
Categorize and prioritize those risks based on likelihood and impact,
Propose risk mitigation and contingency strategies, and
Summarize your findings in a clear and actionable risk management plan.
This assignment is designed to strengthen both your technical understanding of AI applications and your leadership capacity in managing teams through digital transformation. It encourages you to balance analytical thinking with emotional intelligence — understanding not only how to manage risk, but also how to lead people confidently in an AI-driven environment.

Sample Risk Management Plan
The sample Risk Manageöemt Plan provided here illustrates the level of detail and analytical depth expected in your risk management plan. It serves as a practical example of how risks can be clearly defined, categorized, and assessed to support effective project decision-making.
This plan demonstrates how to structure and document key information, including risk descriptions, categories, likelihood and impact ratings, and proposed mitigation or response strategies. It reflects the kind of systematic thinking and clarity that strengthen a high-level risk management plan.
You are not expected to reproduce this plan exactly, but your own risk management plan should demonstrate a similar depth of analysis. The sample is intended to help you visualize the standard of clarity, structure, and precision expected in your submission.
