Hi, I'm Doğan Aral. I am an instructor and consultant specialized in project, portfolio, program, and change management.

The diverse roles and responsibilities I have taken on in the field and office environments have enabled me to grasp the role of project management in the business ecosystem and specialize in this field.

My career as a mechanical engineer evolved into a project manager, instructor, and consultant.

I enjoy sharing the experience and knowledge I have accumulated throughout my long career and being part of efforts that turn ideas into value.

Plant Maintenance - 4 Years

Establishing and operating a maintenance system for highly automated two different cement plants. Experiencing the commisioning phase of the plants in a multinational environment, professionals from France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, and Iraq.

Construction Project - 2 Years

Planning construction material supply for a production line capacity increment project, that lasted two years. Working closely with contractors and procurement department.

Plant Operations- 3 Years

Operating the warehouse of a plant and optimising the supply of spare parts and production material and fuel.

Strategic Planning & Budgeting- 2 Years

Establishing a budgeting system and maintaining it. Preparing the monthly forecasts and yearly budget for the organization. Carrying out the montly, quarterly and yearly executive reports to board members.

SAP Project Management - 2 Years

Experiencing a company merge project and managing the program of establishing the new migrating from a heterogeneous legacy systems to SAP (ERP Platform), which lasted 2 years.

Information Systems - 17 Years

Established and managed the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning platform (SAP), increasing operational efficiency and data accuracy.

Orchestrated a strategic IT services outsourcing project (5 million USD), ensuring sustainable service quality and cost-effectiveness.

Drove substantial improvements in project portfolio management by establishing and overseeing the Project Management Office.

Integrated newly acquired plants into the company's IT network, ensuring seamless operations and data continuity.
